3. Speaking of lack of investigation, of the 19 attackers, 15 were Saudis. This clearly suggests fairly deep Saudi involvement. Yet our rage and retaliation was not directed at Saudi Arabia. Instead it was directed at almost any Arab country except Saudi Arabia. Common sense would dictate if we were to hunt down terrorists, or declare war on our attackers, we should have immediately targeted Saudi Arabia. Instead federal agencies were directed to drum up nonsense evidence for a war in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Not only that, Dubya was also friends with him. He had home visits, discussed intelligence reports with him on occasion, and Bandar was one of the first people Bush told about the decision to start the Iraq war. He attended meetings in the White House, and one on September 13th, hours after which the bin Laden family was flown out of the US.

As far as I understood the chain of events, the bin Ladens went to Prince Bandar for assistance almost immediately after the attacks, and then a chartered flight was approved for the family to get out (which the government denied at the time). There's no "lie" here, the information is murky at best, largely due to government opaqueness, so let's not pretend you have more information on this.
