How can we make the climate be static, /sci/ ?

We should be able to do it, and we need to since humanity and all other life on the planet is completely doomed with a varying climate.

Can we terraform Earth somehow so that the climate becomes static? Is building an ringworld with an articially controlled enviornment the only solution? It should be possible to have a static climate in one, right? I guess we could also colonize the moon, it's a pretty static environment, but the moon is boring.

Eliminate the ocean, you get a mars-like earth with no climate and no life. Or you get a venus-like earth with raging clouds which are just evaporated water masses from the ocean and melting temperatures /crushing atmosphere on the ground but unsurprisingly still no life. We are currently in an ice age and always have been. How exactly does living in the climate your species evolved in show anything?

Perhaps you mean glacial period followed by interglacial warming. Unfortunately, the fastest rate of temperature change during that time was an order of magnitude slower than current global warming.

No it was all wrong. Mann used multiple tree ring data sets, as well as lake sediment, ice core, and coral proxies.

The Tim Ball suit was dismissed because Mann did not move the case forward, not because Mann failed to produce discovery, which is idiotic on its face since his data is publicly available.
