You should be able to solve this /sci/

0, if he has infinite chocolates there is no way to tell how many he actually has, so he would eat 0

Explain this dumb nigger reasoning, if there is an infinite supply, how does this prevent me from counting the amount he stuffs in his face?

You are repeating dumb nigger reasoning a dumb nigger has installed in your brain.

To solve this you need to know his choclate eating speed (for example 18choc/min)

this, if theres infinite chocolates then he cant pick one to start eating

>> No.11869715

yes he can just pick a random one retard

he literally can though you fucking dumbass.
why the fuck wouldn't he? he can just pick the one closest to him and start eating it, then counting.

>> No.11869729

>>11869724
You can do that with finite sets but not with infinite sets. Infinity breaks the laws of physics and logic

>> No.11869734

>>11869724
uh he has to consider all the possible choices before he can pick one and since its infinite he never finishes considering htem, picking the closest one isnt random

No, he does not need to consider every possibility.

think of a fucking number, ok, there, i thought of the number 5, guess the fuck what. i just picked an element of an infinite set of rational numbers, wow, that was hard. i hope this is bait honestly, regardless i am pissed off by you faggots

>> No.11869767

>>11869761
You didn't choose from an infinite set because the human mind is conceptually limited to think only of finite sets. So even though the rationals or the reels might be infinite, you only considered finitely many choices before choosing 5.

>> No.11869774

>>11869749
this, why is everyone here retarded
>>11869767
yeah exactly he has an infinite amount but can only conceptualise a finite amount, meaning he can pick one

>> No.11869775

>>11869767
faggot, if i can choose from an infinite set by having my mind being limited and choosing from a finite range then so can the man in the chocolate bar problem, he can comprehend a finite range of chocolate bars, probably the ones around him, and select one from that finite set. technically, he selected from the infinite set.

>>11869767
even by your retard logic, he can pick a random one from all the chocolates that are 5 cms away from him (or literally any other arbitrary rule) which would be a finite number, retard.

Random choice isn't possible either because randomness doesn't exist. All of measure theory is literally constructed to explain how randomness is actually deterministic

If this was a hypothetical, unreal scenario then yes, the answer would be 0. If we're assuming that it's a real person and the "infinite" chocolate is real, he can just eat the one nearest him.
Simplifying the problem by relating it to a common situation breaks the question. It's like that boat paradox, the whole "if you replace a piece, is it still the same boat?", to which the answer is "if it voids the warranty it's not the same boat anymore".

there can't be an infinite amount of matter in the same space of other matter.
>>11869796
oh really? you're so smart, i bet no one though of this.
>thing can't be possible so i won't bother to think of an answer because i'm a brainlet.

clearly if there were an infinite amount of chocolate the whole universe would be chocolate and the man wouldn't even exist. but that goes against the fucking point doesn't it? you have to imagine the infinite chocolate as if in a endless-bottom bag or a device that automatically replenishes consumed chocolate.

Dumb gay social media tripe.

The question is plain weird. How do you answer it? We don't know how big or how heavy these individual chocolates are.

Nor do we know how big his fucking fat american stomach is.

Do math students just invent gay twisted broken shit for larp fun? Nonsensical unanswerable crap.

Let me guess infinite makes any other answer redundant. Well that's a load of shit. What infinite doesn't have a number in it. If it was truly infinite the fat cunt would not be there, his space would be filled with chocolate.

What a load of imaginary infantile student WANK.

I'm gonna assume a "piece of chocolate" is something you can hold on your finger tips, vs like an entire bar. Think those little individual toblerone pyramids (which have definitely gotten smaller over the years).
This guy will eat at a rate such that he will literally choke on them from time to time, considering death is imminent anyway and toblerones are delicious, chewing each piece just enough to slide it down his fat disgusting throat. We can reasonably say 5 pcs at a time are shoved between his fat sweaty lips and he chews like a fucking fat bitch in heat, so 5pcs swallowed per 6 sec, and another second to grab the next batch.

10 minutes / 7 sec x 5 pcs = 428pcs of chocolate before this fat blob of blubber and shit is put out of his miserable existence. God I'd pull the trigger early if I could.
Well round down to 400 because I know I'd grow tired of watching it consume before the timer went off.
