what does science have to say about the correlation between brain size and intelligence? is there a correlation or are the some geniuses with microcephaly out there?

Brain size matters, but so does proportion. For example neanderthals had large occipital lobes and smaller everything else. The occipital lobe does nothing but process vision. They had in humanly large eyes because they lived in an ice age forrest.

So the answer is both yes and no.

>Considering all layers, men also have a significant higher average synaptic density of 12.9 × 108 per cubic millimeter, whereas in women it was 8.6 × 108 per cubic millimeter. Thus, there was a 33% difference in synaptic density between men and women

Is that what you mean? I'm guessing not.
