I'm currently studying electronical engineering and I've been considering switching to electrical engineering because it has more and better paying job opportunities as well as some really interesting courses. The thing is I started with electromagnetism this semester and so far I've really liked it so I thought that maybe I wanted to focus on telecomunications.
Would swtiching to electrical engineering butcher my capacity of specializing on telecomunications? In case it does, would you recommend me to stay as an electronical engineer and specialize on telecomunications or should I just switch to electrical engineering?
