A happy place to talk about Electrical Engineering, and any Electrical Engineering related topics

depends on where you live, but things like communications, DSP and power systems are pretty versatile

Where the heck can I learn electronics in a good way? All sources I found go from
>here is a resistor
>this is a capacitor
>look, a coil
>Ohm's law
to
>what does this convoluted circuit of transistors and diodes do to voltage relative to this ground with a frequency of 144MHz?

Sorry, I mean they go from the simple stuff to circuit analysis in an instant I mean. There's no middle ground. I'm lost.

Forest Mims has a good book. It reads a bit like you're back in primary school but the circuit complexity does build up very nicely and it'll give you that physical intuition for circuits that circuit analysis will later formalise and make concrete.

>>11531484
start off with basic stuff, things like Kirchoff's voltgae and current law, voltage & current dividers, then go from there

>>11531558
Thanks, I'll try that one. Intuition is exactly what I want to build regarding circuits.

>>11531570
I'll try. Those are the things that seem missing in the sources I found.
