What are you studying and what's the last /sci/ related book you ordered?

I'm a CS brainlet.

Relearning differential equations, laplace/fourier/transforms in general, orthogonal polynomials, special functions, integral equations, greens functions etc. Also learning distributed systems, systems, networks, graph theory, software design patterns, and am planning on relearning multivariable calculus and tensor calculus. eventually plan to go back and reteach myself physics in a more mathy way.

I'm a math/phys double major who got a job in software.

I also considered math/phys double major but the lower level math courses are autism and I just opted for mathematical physics with a minor in math (so I can take higher level math courses I actually want to take)

Yeah the lower courses are shit unless there are challenging honors courses, except alot of the people in those courses can be toxic. I'd always share my answers but I was excluded from the study groups. Honestly university kinda sucks, just do well and get a decent job that is on the easier side and study on your own. It's more fun that way

Is spending a few hundred euros on books a year so terrible for you? Do you live on NEETbux?

What are you using for diff eqs? I'm taking a course but really hate most of the bibliography because it's not rigorous enough.

Going through pic related since Jeff Erickson’s papers seem interesting, and in general I want to see how far the relationship between topology and computer science theory goes. After this I’m probably going read weibel’s h book

I'm just using that historical applications with diffeq book. If you look it up itll come out. It's pretty easy but has some challenging problems every once in a while. It's pretty good
