OK anons, so I'm a neet and I have nothing to lose by going dark for a while. I'm gonna make some supermarket, pharmacy and library runs and bunker down.

My question is, what do I need to do to ensure Corona-chan can't sneak in while I'm beating off? Do I need to put tape or plastic around the door and windows? Obviously I need to get air from somewhere. Is window air safe enough if I live on the fourth floor?

Make sure you shut off your computer because viruses can get in through the web.

Yes

No. You need HEPA filters. Look up building standards for hospital isolation wards. It is pretty severe. A former colleague of mine ended up in one. Preventing a disease apocalypse is a lot of hard work.

Buy anti-germ UV light and irradiate your walls from time to time. Just like those fancy craft-beer artisan shops do.

Common misconception. In some cases, clouds can focus UV light and make it even worse.

pump all your air through a carbon filter. a decent setup could be built for well under $100

You're pretty much safe by not having any human contact.
Airborne virus usually only survive by aerosol.

Don't take this anon too literally: there is a big difference between a hospital isolation ward and a fourth-floor apartment. For on thing the ward is not four floors above the rest of the hospital. For another, the sickness is confirmed to be inside the ward, and not suspected to be somewhere outside. HEPA filters are nonetheless a good idea if you want to go full happening mode.
