"Trees are composed by 90% gasses, prevalently H2."
This is my statement and it's based on exactly 0 evidence and I just felt like making it up, but you don't know it. You think I'm serious and convinced about it and you have to change my mind.
Now try to object this statement with fakts, lojic and evidenkes and find the truth, but you can't use any resource on the matter that's from the internet, you can rely only on yourselves.
Have fun.

If they're mostly gasses, how do they not fly off like balloons?

most of a tree's mass is condensed air.
all they get from the ground is some nutrients.
(and water oc)

"OP was seen taken multiple male sexual appendages into his orifices by feral humans hosting a wide range of highly contagious venereal diseases. When assistance to escape his predicament was offered to OP by a group of concerned citizens OP refused help, stating that he was entirely satisfied by his condition and wished to continue in that situation for the foreseeable future".

There! NOW PROVE ME WRONG!

If they were, wildfires would be far worse than they are. The fact that they occur without whole forests just blimping out of existence shows that trees can't be composed of so much H2.
Also, H2 takes a lot of space while weighting very little - assuming you meant by weight, if they had so much H2 in them, most of their volume would have to be H2. This would lead to extremely thin outershells, which would make the whole wood industry and its derivatives impossible.
Also, if they had very thin barks the hidrogen would just escape anyways. I can't retrieve the formula since no internet (if books count I probably can), but it's somewhat easy to calculate how much gas passes through a surface if you have a constant gas concentration on both sides, the temperature, the thickness of the surface and it's physical properties.
Last but not least, consider that Hydrogen changes its volume with heat far more than pure water or living wood. Since trees would have very little water, they would not only change temperatures much faster, but have a noticible change in volume along the day. They usually use transpiration as a mean of temperature regulation as far as I know, so the little water they hold would make it even harder for them to control their temperaute.

I've burned a lot of trees in my life, and it would have been way easier than it was if they were made of H2.
