Anyone else think this is far more reasonable than the standard model? I started to really question the SM after thinking about dark energy and dark matter and how nonsensical they were.

is it because the "Standard Model" is "Worship Einstein or go flip burgers"?

exactly, william tift's promising academic career came to a screeching halt half a century ago when he was impertinent enough to publish observations of the night sky that he made which contradicted the standard model. to this day nobody has been able to explain
redshift quantization in the context of the big bang and instead of questioning the big bang dogma, they just ignore redshift quantization and prevent progress in hopes of maintaining the status quo. not all that different from a pope and his cardinals who didn't want people listening to galilleo 400 years ago.

that's because eventually, every hierarchy and hierarchical model gets infiltrated and co-opted.

because motherfuckers refuse to learn from history.

nigger, either accept being a pariah whos ridiculed until death and then praised in the afterlife by the same types of pricks who made your life hell or go fucking work medical research and shut your fucking mouth

A good scientist has a hundred things to test but only has the money/resources/ability for a handful to test with, a good scientist picks and chooses a few thing to test through the process of elimination of what will provide results, you write your paper and get published, and get a cushy job, by the time measuring equipment gets cheap enough to actually test all those hundred things and it completely disproves your paper, it doesnt matter because youll probably have tenure and every one of your peers and braindead moron undergrads will shout at everyone who points out whats actually wrong

where is the barycenter of the galaxy?

What is the effect of solar wind refraction on the shapiro delay, and "lensing" effects observed around massive stellar objects?

Where in the atmosphere are muons produced?

What is the effect of dragging a microwave resonance cavity across the planets magnetic field lines?

Wouldn't a space elevator ground the van alen radiation belts and turn into a solid bar of lightning?

whenever you're ready.

nah, I learned that recently
a lot of stuff that was "word of god" in my field recently was fucked sideways by some half-assed big data aggregate study by a corporate entity and it hurt a lot of feelings and a lot of the idiots that run the guard still havent accepted it
