I cringe whenever I hear someone say that we evolved to do certain things/act in certain ways to ensure the "survival of the species".
No. We did not evolve to make sure that "the species" survives. We evolved to do certain things because doing those things led to YOUR genes being passed on.

So you think this post would ensure your genes are passed on?

Random natural selection couldn't have led to life as complex as humans. The evolution was clearly directed by God.

femanon here, I'd be willing to pass OPs genes on based on his post
I have a girl penis though, has science figured this out yet so we can have man penis / woman penis children?

Why not?

What is the difference other than your perspective is derived from foresight and their perspective is based on hindsight?

>>11237943
Scientists have developed ways to turn human skin cells into eggs or sperm or you could always involve a random women and have a chimeric baby with OP.

Your genes don't get passed on when your species dies out.

>> No.11237962

>>11237949
I'm not sure what foresight and hindsight has to do with it. What I'm saying is that genes have been selected based on what helps the individual that carries those genes to have surviving offpsring, not what helps "the species" as a whole survive.

You are talking from the perspective of only looking forward, while they are taking into account the historical context.

Evolution doesn't just apply to individuals, it applies to groups, such as species, especially species that are very social like humans, its why tribalism, religion, and commerce evolved.

this is just the orgy of motion. particles interacting. some became complex and self replicating, that's why we still see them in their complex nature.
what was it that Sartre said about essence?

Everytime you fundies bring up a biological mechanism that "could not have evolved" we spend days proving how it can while you sit back drink mimosa at your golf country club. Here is an idea, you fucking faggot, how about you spend some of your own time and figure out how a trochlea evolved, because it 100% did, just like everything else. There are millions of structures within a body down to the cellular level, we're not going to sit here and go sown the list for you one by one

We're down with this game where we act like the burden of proof is on us. We have proven evolution. Now if you want to disprove evolve, you can try and do that, and it will take more than you giving one word responses. You could write up a whole report, and we will most likely glance at the first paragraph and then toss it in the trash, but if that floats your boat then go for it.

not sure that means much from a reddit fag but whatever.
I'm a defeated soul. I can no longer spare the energy to be an "edgy" 4chins MLG gamer. It's not fun anymore.
