Is there a scientifically proven for you "best" diet to follow? If I wanted to minmax my longevity and my mental and physical health throughout my life, what exactly should I consume?

>> No.11052052

>>11052040
Nothing but animalproducts (meat, organs, dairy ,eggs etc.).

>> No.11052059

5-2 and eat whatever you want on the other days.

Less calories, less fuzz, less problems. It's all about calories in vs calories out anyway

how long do eskimos live?

>> No.11052641

>>11052579
Eskimos evolved for tens of thousands of years on fish, had a high-activity lifestyle and lived in harsh polar areas. Red meat is nothing like fish in the body, it's infinitely worse for you, the only meats I would ever eat are fish or chicken.

>> No.11052679

technically they had access to the vitamins and lipids indirectly via marine creatures eating algae.

>> No.11052691

Vegetarian, with no grains or refined sugar, and a daily portion of organ meat (liver, kidney, heart).

This is the absolute best diet possible.

Not really.

>> No.11052875

Possibly more important for longevity promotion than what you eat is caloric intake restriction.

Don't eat much in general, and restrict the time during which you do. Try intermittent fasting.

>> No.11052888

>>11052875
Contraintuitive, never tested outside of a lab setting. Any benefit most likely due to restriction of harmful compounds.

>> No.11052951

Just any old boring healthy diet will do. They've been out for years. Diet is mostly a solved problem. It's really stupid to stress over maximizing your diet efficiency, once you've hit being 90% correct you're gonna be fine. You could incorporate weird stuff to hit a hundred and keep up with cutting edge research but is it really spending so much time in your diet worth it? The bottom line is you'll have spent about 2 hours per day for your whole life from the moment you choose to go crazy healthy to decrease your chances of dying of a diet related disease by about 1% over what 3-5 mins per day could do. If you don't factor time wasted vs time gained in the minmax problem, yeah it's an improvement. The factors are there in real life though.
