Is there a lack of math editors in magazines or something, what the fuck is this bullshit?

The fuck is that article? Eigenvalue decomposition is a purely algebraic concept. They probably just did a fucking principal component analysis.
This is taught to anyone whose field is related to applied math when they are, like, 18 years old.

Quantum eigenvector decomposition is where you take a quantum matrix with quantum eigenvalues and quantum eigenvectors. When the quantum eigenvectors form a quantum basis of the quantum vector space, you can quantum change the quantum coordinates so that the quantum matrix is quantum conjugate to a quantum diagonal matrix. Neat, right?

And here's the really trippy part that will blow your mind: you don't know if it worked or not until you look at the results.

Expected better from them.

I hardly expect anyone from a lifestyle magazine to have a good idea about eigenproblems. I don't know why anyone would. You don't expect them to understand Sturm-Liouville normal forms either now, do you?
