Have you ever had a spectacular realization?

Einstein declared that his 2nd greatest idea was to add an egg while cooking soup to get a soft-boiled egg without having an extra pot to wash.

wouldn't the egg taste like soup?
Also, what did he consider his greatest idea?

You boil with the shell on and then peel it

I got to e by myself by doing an infinite series of division.
Pretty lame but I was 14 or something.

1: Doing one (1) thing will be all encompassing or highly encompassing
2: Development of this one (1) thing will require interpolation of procedures
3: Interpolation will produce a polynomial
4: The procedure must be easy to use
5: This becomes a fixed-point/root finding problem
6: The polynomial must be of high degree

this is why you're a virgin

on a serious note,
>2: Development of this one (1) thing will require interpolation of procedures
I don't think it is appropriate to use interpolation in the mathematical sense as you're doing here when, at best, this statement is only valid when using interpolation in the colloquial sense. You need to at least define and then justify why mathematical interpolation is required.

>4: The procedure must be easy to use
why

You want everything in life to be 1 procedure right? So best case scenario you could code your MO into Java? Thus you are looking for some commonality among all the various different ways you do things, and going from there, restricting your procedure by any additional parameter you may want (as an example, you don't want your procedure to be piecewise based on the input, otherwise you are negating the whole point.) Thus you combine a bunch of sequences until you have a code, literally interpolation.
>4
you said secret to life. If it's not easy there's no "secret". Everyone knows life is hard.

>> No.10887795

>>10887676
>You want everything in life to be 1 procedure right?
Not really. By focusing on ONE thing, by definition, you are eliminating other, lesser things. That's the whole point. So no, *everything* in life is not 1 procedure; rather you should identify the 1 procedure that gives you what you *really* care about, not everything you could possibly care about.
Also, the ONE thing can change over time, however at any moment in time, there can only be ONE thing.

>you said secret to life
Easy is the wrong word. Simple is the right word.

During organic chemistry I understood with the different energy levels different organic bonds meant that life just saps out every little bit of energy that's left in the chemical bonds just to incredible optimization.
It also means that life is the last beacon before the universe dies. We are its existential crisis. And now we're aware.
