almost but in some ways it's true that IQ ~ social skills
But it's definitely not entirely true. For example, good visuao-spatial skills and visual working memory do not garantee social success. However, good verbal reasoning, auditory Working Memory, and verbal fluency do help with social skills but of course it's not enough, as being at communication requires more than just innate skills (for instance assertiveness, understanding that people are people, self-regulation, some amount of acquired sophistication, imagination, a stoic disposition, etc.)
