I'm off to study Mechanical Engineering at University this September, but I can't help but feel unprepared or that I got accepted by a fluke and I'll probably fail or not be able to keep up with the content at University. I wouldn't say I'm a genius/Chinese level Math student, but I'm pretty decent at it.

How big is the jump up from High School/Sixth Form/Gymnasium up to First year undergrad?

You're an engineer, not a mathematician, you certainly won't have to be any kind of meth genius for that.
In fact most engineers are absolute brainlets
dont worry you'll be fine

Would like to know this as well. For civil engineering

Very tiny. The first 6 months are nothing. The next 6 months are tough. Study the course material

>gymnasium
It’s really not difficult if you just sit and work through the exercises and understand the concepts well, especially for Calculus and Linear Algebra for engineers. At first, you might be a bit shocked by the difference between hs and uni, but you’ll quickly get used to it.

>I wouldn't say I'm a genius/Chinese level Math student
are these like synonymous or something?
