statistics is not math and not a science

i know that. i have worked in and with both fields and people in those fields use methods from 100-150 years ago because thats the only part of physics that you can still sensibly apply to the human body without destroying it

I had an average of about 3 girls relative to 20 men in my major course of studies classes. In all but one class with just one woman, they were wretched harpies.
I suppose it does help you study better, given how even the past 5 years the dress of women has collapsed to crude sexual displays which inherently distract. But most people, they're in undergrad to have fun, to fill a void, not as a career move or to actually learn.

In retrospect, I should have undertaken psychology as a major. Would have been easier, would have had more women, and could have managed hard science prerequisites for medical school.

Oh well.

Raised in an Irish catholic family, I can attest to this. We never gave a fuck about our feelings. We didn't care about who we we're as a person, only what we did in life. If something bad happened to you, you got over it. When I was pushed into it, I was able to see right through tho the old Jew sitting across from me, whom later, wanted to wrestle with me on the floor, which isn't suprising now. The Jew will always ask a question to a question instead of actually answering it, that's why Judaism is so broken. Psychology is a false field of study, that will give people problems that they didn't already have.

The interest in the themes of psychology is legit like any other. Why would one field be superior to others? This is just a matter of personal opinion and preference. Regardless, every human has to delevelop psychological theories in order to navigate the social world and understand others people motivations.. It's called "ingenuous" psychology. Some people decide its worth studying these things more in detail and become psychologists. Some others may have different motivations. Who are you to say their choice is "wrong", or that they do it because they are underachievers?

I agree that not all psychology is science. Psychology is a science when its results are falsifiable and obtained through the scientific method. All psychological claims that are not inferred under these conditions are pseudo science. The fault is not to the field itself. Every field has bad research and bad practitioners.

When it comes to therapy, we live in an age where only evidence based practice is being considered as valid. There have been long longitudinal studies starting from the 1960s that aim to differentiate between therapeutic practices that work beyond placebo. Also, studies are being conducted that aim to know which are the factors that render a treatment effective.
