What do you mean? We'd probably be about where we are now. He was a theoretical computer scientist, not a revolutionary engineer. He pushed existing technology to its limits.

Much more of a math guy than an engineer. He was insanely smart, and it's a shamed how the UK treated him, but ultimately he wouldn't have pushed the envelope that much further.
