How is this possible?
You guys told me emotional intelligence means nothing and only hard basic IQ is the truth in the universe.
What could be the reason for this?
Where is the sweetspot for leadership then?

>You guys told me emotional intelligence means nothing and only hard basic IQ is the truth in the universe.
So you not only listened to /sci/ and somehow believed that emotional intelligence was less important than IQ, but also bought into the "IQ is super important" meme without actually coming to the logical conclusion that obsessing over it is a waste of your fucking time?

In response to your question:

>What could be the reason for this?

Purely spitballing here - highly intelligent people tend to be an antisocial lot and thus are ineffective at managing more extroverted individuals. That, or they just get fed up with how fucking retarded people are and stop bothering.

"less effective leadership"

Look at Musk. High IQ billionaire who does not give two shits about leadership, but about rockets, flamethrowers, banking and electric cars.

All of which he is pretty effective at.

Low IQs are not logical therefore a high IQ doesn't do much to understand them. What you need is knowledge on how to lead them which is probably something high IQs aren't very interested in obtaining. A high IQ person would almost certainly be better at leading other high IQs though.

They didn´t steal anything - you consented to everything when agreeing to their terms and conditions, retard. Furthermore, the government views facebook and similar platforms as ideal channels for enacting mass surveillance and disseminating propaganda. Nobody in government has any real interest in making themselves obsolete or weakening the government apparatus, and as such, nobody in government has any real interest in preventing Zuckercuck from carrying out his ethically questionable business practices.

Communication gap. Dumb people simply won't understand the decisions of a smart guy. So someone with an IQ only slightly above the average is better at leading a bunch of normalfags because they are closer to their level.

It may be that you can only meaningfully communicate with people that are 1-2 standard deviations away from you in terms of intelligence. If that's true, it's not surprising that someone with an IQ more than 2 standard deviations above the average won't get much out of a horde of brainlets (who probably just want to have sex with each other instead of completing the task anyway).

>What could be the reason for this?
In order to lead people effectively you need to be able to understand their limitations so that you can make the best use of them without overloading them. Higher IQ people will tend to project more ability to solve complex problems onto their subordinates and thus give them too much work to handle, or alternatively underestimate them and seem like condescending, micromanaging twats - maybe even go as far as doing it all themselves.

Source: my ass, but I've seen this happen a lot.

I do not understand sub 120 IQ brainlets which means I'm a poor leader of anything that isn't a small group of like minded people, which of course is a group that doesn't even need a leader at all

>> No.9827525

In order to be a good leader you have to constantly convince others to buy your ideas. You have to sell ideas to them. The most effective method of selling anything to someone is to have things in common with them. This is basic sales 101. Establishing commonality with someone will be difficult if you have barriers such as a sense of superiority.

Because of a side effect of the burden of nescience. The old saw that the more you know, then the more you realize how much you dont know. If you're a brainlet the ratio of known unknowns and unknown unknowns gets skewered. This means you can be confident in ignorance, which is one of the more important aspects of leadership. Being able to delegate and actually knowing anything come in distant second and third place.
It's not surprising that psychopaths make the best leaders because they're programmed to only give a shit about results and can treat the human element as mechanical pieces.
So the trick to being a good leader is to pretend like you know what you're doing and let everyone else do the work.
