1. You are not as smart as you think
2. Other people are not as dumb as you think

Successful people are almost exclusively chads and they are exclusively much sharper than you. Just because someone has bad hearing doesn't mean they have extraordinary eyesight.

The truth is that smart people don't fall into one personality type or social role, even if it is comforting to believe that you inherently have some advantage over chads (just because you don't succeed socially like they do)

Because for the last 3 billion years or so, brawn is what mattered most. The biggest decider in whether you would survive to mate was how strong and fast you were. It's only the last few hundred thousand years that intellect has really become very important. For most of history, you only had to be smart enough to not get eaten. Being smart enough to build a society did not pay the calorie bills. Women have ~3 billion years worth of instinct telling them to fuck the strongest and fastest, but only a million or so telling them to fuck nerds. Less even because it's only the last 3000 or so years that you didn't also have to be physically fit to take advantage of that intelligence.
