Is there research to back up the effectiveness of skincare products or is it all a scam?

Collagen in Skin creams are 100% Scam.
Since Collagen can't be absorbed through Skin.

You have to ingest Proteins, Vitamin C to let your body produce the Growth hormone & Collagen that will regenerate the Skin from inside.

Ok let me be specific for the retarded brainlet
Is there actual research with non-falsified results that wasn't shilled for by cooperations to sell products? Are there legitimate studies done by non-shills?

Most stores are not backed up by any research whatsoever

There is research in this field but it's mostly bad news or of low quality (like how fat food would cause zits, no good research has been done)

Pretty much all zit preventing/removing products are useless

Oil removing stuff usually contains it's own oil to remove
(just test it on a medical glove)

Moisterizing cream works fine but is generally not needed unless you shower too often (causing your skin's natural layer of protective wtvr it was called to wash away)
Unfortunately it does not fight anything but dry skin

Sun light damage the Skin.
So sun block creams are one of the few skin care products that works well.

Avoid sunbaths, stay more indoors.
And use sun block cream under sun.

True that

The UV light from the sun knocks electrons from the atoms in your skin, including the dna. Which changes how its reacts. Which means your body needs to replace that skin cell.

Your body can only replace so much skin cells before your skin will start to look old

Change your diet. Seriously. Search on pubmed "diet" and "acne". The myth that there's no link between diet and acne is based on old, discredited research that is being replaced by new research.

>high glycemic foods
>dairy
>sugars

These things upregulate the production of IGF-1 which in turn causes excess sebum production, which leads to acne.

Stress also damages the Skin

Because Stress release the Stress Hormone Cortisol.

Cortisol break up and damage the Collage inside the Skin.

High Cortisol also can cause a series of other Heath Problems (High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Fatigue, etc.)

So a Low Stress Comfy also helps, and is very important.

The skin damage by sun UV rays is cumulative and increase depending on how much you were exposed to sun.

If you start protecting & caring you skin now it will prevent further damage.

When people are younger, the skin can regenerate more easily. But getting older the damages accumulates.

let's prevent now.

it's better than try to treat when it's too late like this truck driver >>9646309

It reduces the stress and the Cortisol levels.

Normies shit on hobbies like Gaming.
But it reduces Stress & Cortisol Hormone.

Low Cortisol improves Health & Skin.
So it can produce real health benefits.
So not a total waste of time after all.

however doing too much fun is bad since cause
Addiction by too much Dopamine release in Brain.

Fun and relieving stress reduces Cortisol,
So is good for health.
