Let's be honest with ourselves /sci/, solar power is boring. Fuck'n panels just sit there leeching radiation, generating fuck all from it, and then they burn out. Then there's wind power, oh man, what the fuck are we doing with wind power!? Aren't we representing humanity? Don't we have standards to pretend to live up to? Are we seriously gonna just fuck'n glue wings onto turbines and be done with them? Mothafuckin steam engines were the baddest mofo's on the block, then the fission lads came a' waltzing, gettin us all excited. Sooner or later we had dams lockin up every loch on the block, gears a' crankin, gases a' smokin. Innovation, motherfuckers. Last to the party was pic related and it tells us it's got the skills to pay the bills, the works, tells us that solar is the future. Well I for one am not convinced, /sci/, not this time. This time I'm disappointed.

Those future pure black solar panels are pretty cool. Sucking up visible and non visible radiation. Converting to electricity beyond the mathematical limits of today.

I question why we need an electric motor to get wind energy. Where is the solid state wind power?

I'm a fan of the idea of building a very large internal combustion engine and powering it with nuclear bombs.

Given how nuclear makes everyone sperg out, solar is the future however it will only be used to electrolyze hydrogen for power storage and transfer. The future will essentialy run on hydrogen.

It's a great sustainable method
