So, do you think I am giving myself more opportunities by going with Electrical instead of Computer? I started learning how to program the summer of 2013, and have written some little games/scripts, but I feel like it would look better to say Electrical + I know how to program on a resume.

Also am currently planning to take a Biology minor, the school as this program with "bioelectrical" aspects.

Bad idea. Only people who are attending "good" schools will post, giving the false image the we all attend top 10 unis. Most of us, including me, are probably going to middle-of-the-road schools. We also probably have quite a few high-schoolers who will just name the school they want to attend.

It's the same here, the selection of upper-level maths courses is horrendously limited. I'm going to have to take some courses at either York or U of T next year for the grad programs I'm thinking about. Our economics and financial side is pretty solid, though, and I personally don't have to deal with the work-study-life balance problems that hit other students so hard.

All in all, it's fine. At the very least, I'm happy that there had been some real qt3.14s even in my program until the end of second year, and a good number of them in chem/bio for later years, on top of the endless supply of them in arts majors.

It's also not that hard to enter (you only need grades around 7/8 out of 10), mainly because in the past years the number of Physics students in Spain have been reduced by 50%.

At a College you can get a Bachelor's Degree after studying there for four years. A Bachelor's Degree is generally not for a very specific field, although it can be depending on where you go to school. At a University you can get a Master's Degree, then a PhD. A Master's/PhD generally requires that you do research in addition to just taking classes, and are taken much more seriously in the work world than a Bachelor's. Most Universities also have a Bachelor's program to go with their graduate programs.

You might hear the words College and University used interchangeably, but I'm pretty sure that the official definition is that a College only gives undergraduate degrees (Bachelor's) and a University gives graduate degrees (Master's/PhD/MD/other specific stuff)

This is what idiots actually believe. Btw, non-renowned colleges are cheap, at least where I'm at. ~225 dollars per semester for bachelors (actual price is three times that, but the the other 2/3 get taken up by the state). Assuming you're not a fuck up and can complete your education in the intended 4 years, it'll cost 1800 dollars in total. Textbooks are cheap too, so it'll probably be 2000 max. Granted the wages over here aren't exactly generous, but in 3+ years my family hasn't taken out a loan and I've paid a little over half of the money with stipends. My uni might not be ub3r 1337, but at least it doesn't rape me through the pockets and attending it has raised me from illiterate to semi-literate. Slowly, but surely, moving in the right direction.

jesus christ, no you are dead wrong, get the fuck out of that fake school while you can and get a real degree. I'm warning you, you are making the same mistake I made and it cost me dearly. Think about what you are doing.

I'm french. I'm attending a CPGE (see http://prepas.org/ups.php?article=1 or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CPGE)) in hope to get into an ENS (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%89coles_normales_sup%C3%A9rieures)) and study maths.

I should probably spend less time on 4chan, though
