I want to start taking math and physics notes on PC, I find it looks more sophisticated and pleasant to the eye. What software should I use to do it as fast as possible?

i use LyX, it's slightly faster than pure LaTeX, it does the job good enough for me

This. Don't be that meme guy typing everything just because it looks pretty. It's utterly pointless.

Then stop using a biro and use a fountain pen instead. You can draw more eloquent lines that way and it gives you an excuse to draw fancy serifs.

Writing helps commit to memory. Even if you're good enough to type notes with equations at lecture pace, it won't help you as much.

You're supposed to collate notes and self study into your own document of the course. Use TeX for that and hw.

>> No.14869911

LaTex is for homework so your professor can read what you've written
if you want to be "le cool unique tech guy" write your notes with an ipad, I mean you can read and write with one device so maybe it's worth it I wouldn't know

handwriting and scaning.
>I want to start taking math and physics notes on PC
yup yup, same. Or a graphic tablet if you prefer instead of pen and paper.
>What software should I use to do it as fast as possible?
If you insist. Overleaf and avoid installing anything on your device.

Why the fuck would anyone want to write a scientific paper in 2022 other than for personal glorification?

I am not any of those guys but I can take notes during lectures for physics, math and chemistry, in real time. At least with emacs. I wish had done this sooner and not started just on thermodynamics.
