my phd supervisor had a lot of students, many gave up midway, or took a long time to finish a result. my supervisor never took their work and published with someone else, even things that were potentially groundbreaking at the time.

I actually like the school, and my professors are great. I am graduating this Spring by the way. It's just a great environment for me because I always hated my general education classes and similar requirements. At Evergreen I have pretty much taken all math and philosophy classes, and I have never had to sit through something chemistry lab or a general education English class that I hate.

Yeah I graduated a while ago but I also hated gen ed classes and felt 98% of college was an irrelevant waste of time and money for me. I probably actually would've liked that college as long as I didn't experience those people too often, and a high percentage of typical universities also now have similar ultra-woke student movements anyway.
