What if companies and politicians used deep learning in 2007 , and due to incomplete data the algorithms decided that people want sjw shit all over everything , and now we have to live that until the machines realize that's not what people want ?

What if all the fake drama and stupid bullshit in the world, from global conflicts to movies, is being generated by A.Is in a sort of a Nash equilibrium to keep the large companies safe and growing.

I have an idea here that i can't articulate

I know exactly what you’re saying and I’ve come to the same conclusion, but from a different perspective. Financial markets are largely driven by HFT and algorithmic trading, it’s likely the connected and interacting network of these algorithms (ML, or not they all have some sort of feedback) have entered the market into some feedback loop / brought the market to some local attractor that maximizes profits.

I believe this is likely the reason for the rather sudden, and accelerating, push to collect as much information from everyone as possible, the growth of big tech, globalization, etc. All of these contribute to the development of better trading systems as they are better designed, run faster, have more information, and can make better predictions. It’s essentially a feedback loop with humans pushing development forward due to the economic incentives, and the economics being pushed forward by the continued development improving the whole network’s (humans included) ability to predict and influence.

Before dl there was ml, including classical statistics methods. Analysis wasn't invented when dl became popular.
