So "up above" us there is a sort of atomic system in terms of planets, solar systems, galaxies, galactic clusters, and finally the universe (the extent of our perceptive abilities)

Down below us there is an atomic system of nuclei, electrons, positrons, and then below that is a subatomic particle system that we can only perceive poorly and no further than that

Hypothetically speaking there could be "worlds" and beings that exist at these levels in physical systems that are beyond us, no? Much like a microorganism doesn't have the perceptive tools or ability to realize what a human is or what it's doing on it, that's just its "world." Kind of makes that ending scene from Men In Black a little credible.
