11298337 No.11298337 [Reply] [Original]

Can anyone please tell me what part of the engine seems to be moving here in this CRS-19 launch?

Appears throughout the launch at/in multiple times/places, I am sure it is a critical system engaging for the engine, just unable to identify it.

Curious.

It moves like that due to the vibrations and g-forces. In factories there are entire conveyors that are essentially vibrating trays that move objects in one direction across them or even uphill in a spiral (Vibratory Feeder System). It is pretty neat.

What about your evidence as to why this is faked? Do you have a technical break down of a launch explaining the faked parts? Even better, do you have evidence that the launch was physically impossible? Such as scientific papers, observations, and demonstrations of spaceflight not being like how it's commonly shown.

What about the communication satellites made by private companies, such as AsiaSat 8 or Telstar 19V or Arabsat-6A?

>Satellites are put on weather balloons and launched that way
There's no way a balloon could reach the speeds necessary to fly across the sky at the rates we see. Orbital velocity is almost eight times higher than the fastest airplane (SR-71), and almost EIGHTY times faster than the fastest recorded jet stream wind.

On this forum? No. They're not obliged. They do need to prove their capabilities to private communication companies who are buying launches from SpaceX to send their communications satellites to orbit. This one is titled "wire tangled" but it's obvious what happens at that part near the end where it's supposed to show that somehow the man who was spinning is bound by some invisible guy lines and that's why his arms sort of move only a little!

There are many hand and foot holds all around the station, there are two visible in that webm, the blue bars on the left side of the screen. To assist keeping yourself in place they slide their feet underneath them. You even see this happen where his right leg ( left side in the video) slides in first and then he pulls himself slightly down to get his other foot in place.

"Well, why CAN'T he move his arms out to the side at all!?" He actually can, after his twirl, at 0:12 seconds he fully extends his arm out to reach for either the floor or more likely another of those blue handholds to assist orienting himself back between the other two.

If he is supposedly tangled up, where are the indications of such on his clothes or skin?

Why wouldn't it? You can see the entire dimensions of the space he is floating in the entire time. Are you trying to tell me that some wire is present there, which is elastic enough to stretch out all around him while he is spinning all over the place, and also not be made taught around him when he reaches and extends his arms out. But, this mystical super material is also rubber enough to provide all the buoyant force to deceive the viewer with some hollywood fakery of floating at the same time?

Take a still from any point in that video and show me where you think the wires are with mspaint or some equivalent. If some wire is holding him up, how is it not taught while he is not touching the floor, or floating?

Yes, grab any string or fishing line or whatever you have around, a shoelace even. For something to hang from it, to be suspended from it, it has to be pulled taught, or straight right? There is no slack or drooping from where the string is attached or held to the objects hanging from them.

The guy in the webm, is upside down after spinning around on both axis, if some wire is present holding him up it would need to be taught. And if it is, then he wouldn't be able to extend his arm out to the side and above his head which he is able to do.

Oh, and as for the first guy in >>11300342 It's literally the same fundamental physics as in ice skating where he extends that leg that is "caught" outwards to slow his spin just for a moment to give him time to place his other foot underneath a foothold.

Same with this one, the video claims there are some visual shenanigans, but then provides no theory as to how it is being faked. Just saying Wires! is not enough, show me where you think the wires are attached to these individuals, and where they are attached to the surrounding structure in such a way that peoples arms and legs don't pas through them, or if they supposedly do, then where are the multiple video artifacts from all those times when someone actually does get tangled in something.

I felt specifically to adress the "manipulation area" part which is most likely an artifact of compression. Here is a video of missing keyframes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-bz21deEeY

What you can notice happen is that the texture "sticks" onto surfaces. This is because the compression takes an occasional keyframe and then maps how the different areas moves, since the keyframe is missing the old picture gets moved like the new picture would have. So part of the area moving slightly for a single frame isnt the most solid proof of anything, Id say that if anything this is better as proof of no CGI as any respectable CGI artist would do a better job than that.
