that's not how statistics works. But in the last couple of years you might be right, we've gotten a lot of /pol/tards here lately.

below 90: Irrelevant brainlets who have to rote memorize to learn things. Have trouble doing office drone jobs.
90-100: Brainlets who don't care about intelligence, except when they think it gets them a better reputation among their peers. Have trouble with abstractions. Are easily deceived into becoming extremists (example: most /pol/tards)
100-110: Normalfags, their life is defined entirely by fitting in into their surroundings and mimicking what other "normal" people are doing. Are afraid of anyone or anything that is different from what they are used to.
110-120: Pseudo intellectuals who are all talk but actually don't understand shit, "Very Serious People". King of brainlets. Mask their deficit of intelligence through unnecessary complex choice of words.
120-130: Somewhat intelligent, the average /sci/ stemfag. Too smart to be part of the lower groups, but not smart enough to be exceptional. Uses "critical thinking" almost constantly, for the lower tiers this is a learned skill.
130+: Can do actually impressive things (you likely aren't here if your main occupation is wasting your life on 4chan, these people have more interesting stuff to do than shitposting.)

imagine that you start with a normal distribution and the selection bias is something like a raised error function.

my comparison isn't based on the individual's ability to create but the individual's usefulness to society.
bellow 80 are more obedient and they are better at doing the hard job of society without asking or complaining. above 120 are smart and they are better at steering society and innovating.
90-110 are the midwits of society, they are mediocre at everything they do and they can't do the hard work of society without complaining nor steer society or innovate. they are the ones that complain about elitism in art and natural sciences, they are the one that fawn when they see the word quantum in their favorite scifi product, they are the reason elon musk is relevant, they are the reason memes exist, they are the reason nuclear energy isn't progressing, they are the reason clickbait journalism exists, etc.
