instead of studying this weekend I wasted countless hours on the internet

You cant come over it but you can do as I did and accept it and study smart. Start off with something your interested in so that you dont get bored super quick. Try fiddling with something when studiying(I learnt how to solve a rubics cube in 30 secs, It works). Desks dont work for me, I just study while walking in my room or on the bed. Whenever you get distracted, dont force it, just take a break for 5 mins(Time it) and go back to what youre doing. Try to figure out more shit that works for you. Just dont use ADHD as a fucking excuse to do drugs and fuck up your grades. GL.

I got diagnosed with both the inattentive & hyperactive variants of ADHD and I can tell you that it is utter bullshit. The only reason I got diagnosed is because any healthy person would get diagnosed. If you want to overcome ADHD, send the most healthy focused person to the center for diagnosis, watch them get diagnosed and realise it's bullshit and you're in control

I don't understand this meme of saying that adhd people are just "lazy", feels like it's just for the sake of being edgy.

I mean we know things like lower i.q make it harder for people to do sciences (jews get arround a third of nobel price in science even though they make up 0.2% of its population), other like low height make it harder for people to do some sports like basket ball or long jump.
Is it that hard to believe that some people would have a way harder time getting focused?
Hell we even know things like self control or personnalities are largely genetical.
