Would it be useful to use pain to better retain information or to at least enforce discipline?

>LEARNING
I'm thinking the pain, bringing you into a distressed state, would allow good focus and remembrance. Perhaps to the point that applying the pain would become unnecessary, the threat of it enough to put you in the desired state.

>DISCIPLINE
If not useful for learning, the fostered state could at least be useful for discipline. So when the threat of pain or just some other trigger is used, you could effortlessly learn or do whatever because you've been disciplined to do so in the same way highly disciplined people already act (accordingly to some early-life conditioning).

What do you think? Should I set up a controlled environment, a trigger, time, and reinforcement pain for studying? I'm pretty 'lazy' unless I'm really into something in which case I can spend the whole day on it.

It's the opposite, pain is supposed to make you docile and avoid other animals and hide away since naturally that's how pain helps you survive, by making you become alone and avoid all others that's what pain does to you. It has been proven to make learning harder.

Continued,
pain causes you to avoid risk taking in general so it makes you play everything safe and it can damage your thinking and make it harder to learn lol.

If an animal is in a dangerous area it will feel a lot of pain so the pain causes it to hide away and avoid interacting or getting hurt again it's the only way to survive at that point.

pizza feedback is far more affective

Pain causes you to avoid whatever stimulus caused the pain but that isn't the real purpose of the pain the real purpose is to cause you to avoid dangerous situations so long exposure causes you to become extremely inactive and safe.

do you think masturbation could be useful, especially if I involve the study material in the act?
