Isn't that how college works in America? You take a bunch of random classes for a couple of years and then the one you decide to continue with is what you get your degree in?

I think shes probably right. Math in high school is boring as fuck - literally just memorizing formulas and plugging numbers in. And when you learn Calculus there is no teaching of derivative methods and why they work - you are just told to memorize the process.

Same goes with Physics.
