Can we have a conversation about banning all Flat Earth threads?
We're able to report Science VS Religion threads. I don't believe flat earth discussions belong on /sci/ and that should be reflected by the rules and the mods should enforce those rules.

Can we get a ruling from the mods please?

we can prove the earth is flat using the FUNDAMENTAL THEOREM OF ENGINEERING

if it is close enough it is good enough.

so if we take y=sqrt(1-x^2) to represent our earth we see for small values of x this is basically equivalent to y=1 a straight line with no curvature.

therefore a semi circle is basically equal to a line
