im just so exhausted all the time to do anything physical. a typical day consists of classes, then home to spend several hours copying the textbook into a notebook to follow along in lecture. after that I do practice problems, write part of a piece for my school paper (hobby), and eat, then go more hours until I feel like I can no longer retain anything. repeat throughout the week.

Spend time outside and looking for stuff that's related to your career, and thinking positive stuff about it. I'm studying to be a marine geologist (not the greatest of majors) but I spent time walking along side the ocean and rivers, looking and observing. Sometimes taking a break isn't so bad. Also don't work yourself too much, I'm sure there's a routine for you that allows you to learn your subject and have free time to be yourself.

Must be hard. My entire family four generations back are either paranoid schizophrenics or terminally ill with cancer. My boss is trying to get the police to arrest me. I am taking three jobs, one as a musician, trying to revive atonality through jazz fusion, one as an emergency gastroenterologist and as the head engineer of DARPA. All to fuel my familys medical bills. At Uni i am studying quantum tesseract cohomology, trying to find a cure for cancer, so as to save myself(i have stage five braincancer and cronic testicual torsion as well as ME and cluster migraines). I came from a very poor family. My parents worked as rice farmers. They dedicated their entire lives so that i could have the ability to do what i do, and let me tell you what, if i ever even thought about writing a post like yours, i would instantly kill myself out of shame

Holy shit are you wasting your time buddy. Your copied notes should be bare minimum definitions or theorems, and the rest just reflective commentary on your problem work.

>solve more problems, solve harder problems
>try to prove as much as you have time for after that
>smallest amount of time possible spent putting vital theorems or definitions on flashcards
