That is a separate interpretation of the notion of a god than was originally referenced. The one in question in my first two posts is the one in abrahamic faiths, which is not worth discussing the validity of anywhere - much less a science and math 4channel forum.

Most people do this. Some grow up in a faith group and never impose critical thought on their faith, but many others do, many intelligent people who’ve lived very long lives and they most definitely believe in god.

It ought to apply to quantum mechanics. If we need a theory that explains it physics experiment outcomes, we haven't gotten simpler than quantum mechanics without getting less accurate.

If you mean Occam's razor as in "this sure seems to be the mathematically simplest universe that systematically produces brains" and how that seems to prefer classical mechanics to quantum mechanics: Perhaps it is hard to evolve a brain using only billiard balls bouncing around; and also I wouldn't be surprised if quantum mechanics (or whatever we eventually end up with) ends up having an extraordinarily short mathematical description.

What I'm pretty sure about is that Occam's razor does not allow us to posit a complete brain woven into the fabric of the universe to implement God. The closest I could see is that the universe has some loophole in its physics that advanced technology can exploit for godlike powers, and some dude gave himself root and spawned our world for the lulz. Of course, I would expect him to visibly gather some lulz at some point.
