When did 4chan stop showing poster counts in threads? What is this supposed to improve?

The thing is, tho, most people on 4chan dislike making threads. The better the poster the more he dislikes making threads. OP is actually a good example. You can say that it happens because people have ideas on what's worth making a thread over, because of the ancient "OP is a fag" meme, or for whatever other reason, I wouldn't know.
If there is no /mg/, a lot of the actual content in it won't become a thread, it'll just vanish.

There is one (1) line that passes through p(a, f(a)) and only locally meets F once.
You can find it with the usual polynomial trickery. If you need more hints, just ask.
Tip 1: a parabola is tangent to the x axis if its discriminant zeroes.

Also, don't make homework threads, just ask in /sqt/.

Stop trying to make anon figure out differential calculus on his own. Have some decency.

Look at the condition given for two sequences to represent the same number. Now swap [math]y_k=x_{k+1}[/math].
Pay attention that the definition part is the whole italics.
