No it's not, the Virgo cluster is small relatively speaking but we still have millions of galaxies "close" to us. The Bootes void is like .27% the size of the observable universe and contains only 60 known galaxy's, thata fucking spooky. If you were in one of those galaxy's the night sky would be nearly all black with only your galaxy's brightest stars visible.
