Okay, so it's pretty well established that brain size and head size correlate to IQ and are responsible for at least some of the IQ variation between races.

Whites with extremely high IQs tend to have obviously large braincases, for example a large forehead, a prominent bulge at the back of the head, or a noticably wide head. High IQ Asians usually have relatively short foreheads and wide heads.

But it seems that the correlation between head size and IQ is less obvious for Indians. Look at any prominent Indian scientist or mathematician. Even though they have IQs of 145 and greater, their heads are pretty small-to-average by Asian and white standards. For example, pic related is Fields medalist Manjul Bhargava.

What is the cause of this? Could it be that the genes that affect Indian IQ don't also affect head size? Do they have differently-shaped skulls? Denser brains?
