What's more likely, all the atoms in the universe arranging themselves into a human brain experiencing a specific moment (and subsequently immediately dissipating into thermal equilibrium) or all the atoms in the universe arranging themselves into a solar system where humans evolve?

Why can we use the Boltzmann distribution in Quantum Statistical Physics? What should one look out for when switching from Classical Statistical Physics to Quantum SP? Also, does the quantum approach explain the laws of thermodynamics in a more detailed way or does it define them in a new light?
