Anyone else lucked his way to an engineering degree? I'm a blight on the profession, honestly.

OP here the funny thing is I'm not even in college or anything and I got u grads and undergrads debate on my question lol

I would have taken it more seriously and actually tried to better prepare for college.

I would have actually taken my AP tests (parents never graduated highschool, they didn't stress the importance of them to me since they didn't know either)

I would have tried for something better than a pitiful 3.2GPA

I would have actually tried to complete some math beyond trig/precalc in highschool because no one tells you how bad it sucks to have to take college algebra while attending an engineering college

I would have developed my passion for science and engineering more in highschool to save the time of trying to develop that passion while catching up in the actual major

I would have developed proper study habits in highschool instead of scraping by and staying up til 3AM watching adult swim

I would have joined extracurriculars of ANY kind

I would have tried to actually have fun at prom instead of going and being awkward after being dumped 2 weeks before prom

I would have tried to actually treat highschool as less of a punishment, and more of a stepping-stone to adulthood, like a normal fucking person
