people that withhold the knowledge of the universe should help paint the streets red.
making curriculums sounds wonderful. Honestly I spent a year in my youth(the age of 14) to write a proper curriculum for myself.
then from 15-17 I spent studying hard far far far exceeding the minuscule capacities of my troglodyte peers. Frankly if they were as driven and intelligent as me they could hold the same knowledge, but half of them would have preferred drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana. Absolutely reprehensible.
now I am here 18 in uni far overly prepared to get great grades and excel. in fact because these classes are just second knowledge I have lots of free time to indulge in my own intentions.
students fail to realize american college is not meant for learning, you must compete to be the best because that is how you stand out to employers.
internships, experience, research, etc.
poor fools. Frankly I was lucky to have an educated mother (Phd), I can't imagine what it's like to be a troglodyte with troglodyte parents spewing nescient rhetoric they probably got from the TV.
poor kids, they weren't breed like me, born to be better. However, even then there are people that are on and above my level. being in the same room with a genius is far different than being in the same room with a genius and being intelligent enough to know how great they are.
I'd say developing your own learning path is important, but having examples would really speed up the process.
