The inflatable bit would need a third of it or so sectioned off for an airlock, unless you plan on venting the whole thing every time you want to go outside. I like your light chainmail idea, make it light like those metal mesh gloves some chefs use when cutting food.
On the idea of assembly, I'd need to see if a disassembled rover in a box took up less space than one designed to fold up like a lawnchair instead.
