I doubt you've ever met a biology student. You're probably mistaking them for medical school fags.

Biologists are pretty conservative when it comes to sexual mores in my experience. Studying sexuality and animal behaviour from a pretty objective standpoint probably has something to do with it.
Chemistry students are autistic as fuck. Only mathematicians have them beat.
Physicists are loud and obnoxious.

I know all this because all science (+ math) departments had their rooms in the same building in my university.
