Why does SpaceX keep trying to save Booster 7? The damn thing has been damaged so much they might as well move on to Booster 8.

I’ve been thinking about what if rockets were girls trying to compete in a beauty pageant.

>Starship and Superheavy
They’re the adoptive Texas-born twins of the Falcon family. Both are tall and pale with striking silver hair. Starship likes to dye her bangs black. Starship has a more muscular build despite being a foot shorter than her sister, too.
Both sisters have a witty and pioneering spirit. Neither are afraid of failure, and their down-to-earth mindset makes them incredibly popular online.

>The Falcon Family
A set of siblings and cousins who made waves in the beauty contest scene 10 years ago when they shook up the competition.
Falcon 1 is petite and shy. She never had much of a career but she inspired her other siblings to continue. Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy are almost identical, although Heavy is a bit on the chubby side. All three of them are pale with long blond hair, although 9 and Heavy are noticeably very tall and slender.
Block 5 is the newest in the family. She actually has olive skin and jet black hair. Unlike her sisters, she’s the only one that still competes, although she hopes her adoptive daughters Starship and Superheavy will one day take her crown.

>SLS
SLS is the daughter of the previous champion, Space Shuttle. While she looks an awful lot like her mother, she is certainly much taller.
SLS is beautiful but some are off-put by her orange spray tan, which some chastise as looking like an old fad from the 80’s. SLS is adamant she took the orange spray tan advice from her mother.
SLS is conniving and arrogant. Although she knows Starship and Superheavy are more beautiful than her, many of the contest organizers are familiar with SLS’ family, and are willing to take bribes to sway their judgement. SLS doesn’t care if she cheats, so long as she wins.

Remember when a Starship’s engines had too much power so they aborted the launch, deleted the thrust limit, then let it go? Good times

Holy fuck they are delusional if they think we will still need shit for mars in the 2040s. Mars won't even be the most recent body humans have landed on in 2039, new space is advancing exponentially faster than government-funded programs ever will be…RIGHT NOW. And they will only get faster

Is anyone else scared about the lack of a flame trench for Starship?
