e = (1 + (1/n))^n

when n approaches infinity.

Shouldn't 1/n become 0 and thus (1 + 0)^n become 1?

hey /sci/

i'm pretty drunk but

it's just hitting me, these few, indisputable facts

>nothing exists save atoms and free space
>we are the universe becoming self aware
>WHYjpg
>WHY.jpg is the universe ~14.7 billion years old, started from the big bang???
>WHY.jpg are we evolved from monkeys?
>WHY.jpg do we die instead of living forever [or at least until the heat death of the universe?]

Can /sci/ence answer the fundamental questions of existance?

Why is it

Nature vs Nuture

instead of

Nuture vs Nature

Is it because of alphabetical order? Is it random? Is there a law, or at least a trend, for this sort of thing?

hey /sci/ is it possible to inherit only part of the aspergers syndrome/genes?

I've always felt a little 'out of place' and felt like some of the charactaristics of aspergers applied to me

now i'm not like most socially awkward nerds who just claim 'hurr durr i have aspergers'. my blood-related cousin on my fathers side has shown clear signs and been diagnosed with aspergers. it's clearly in my pre-fated bloodline to at least *some* extent.

However I don't really struggle with social interaction that much. When i'm with others I get along absolutely perfect 95% of the time, but when i'm alone i feel completely different to socital values.

Am I just delusionsal or is this possible? It would explain a good chunk of my life up to this point ..

This should be required reading for anyone even remotely thinking of perusing a degree beyond a bachelors in a scientific field

pic related, it's my face when people tell me they want a PhD.
