Racial divisions of humans are based in biological reality and racial distinctions are enduringly important because racial groups differ genetically with regard to such important behavioral tendencies as intelligence and impulsiveness.

Modern White Europeans are more closely related to their ancestors (the Neanderthals and Haplogroup D Homo Sapiens), than to modern day Africans (Homo Heidelbergensis/Rhodensis and Haplogroup A & B Homo Sapiens).

There is more genetic distance between White Europeans and Africans, than between White Europeans and Neanderthal. We consider Neanderthal to be a unique species or sub-species from White Europeans. So why aren't Africans, with a greater genetic distance, considered a unique sub-species?

In fact, there is more genetic differentiation between White Europeans and Africans than between dogs and wolves.
