relativity isn't about truth, or observable data, it's a mathematical theoretical model. one that describes the speed of light as a constant and "spacetime" as a variable... obviously you will need to do many mental gymnastics, pummel horse, parallel bars, these are ez compared to the state of brains needed to comprehend curved 4d blackholes.
