Sometime between 35 and 350 years from now, we will have technological abilities that allow us to manipulate ourselves and/or our children. Maybe it will be cyborging, maybe uploading, maybe genetic engineering; whatever it is, it seems very unlikely that we'll never be able to make radical changes.

So, the question is...
What kind of changes should we make?
Having upgraded vision and super strength seems fine, but that doesn't actually change very much.
I'm talking more about changes to our psychology.
For example, if you could diminish or eliminate the desire for social status, would that be a good thing?
