What is the best interpretation of quantum mechanics, and why is it the best interpretation?

Are quantum phenomenon inherently deterministic or probabilistic? What is the argument in either case? What do modern formalism say?

Hey, /sci/. In a couple weeks I'm graduating with my BS in chemistry. For my graduation recognition ceremony, I can leave a short message that will be displayed in a presentation with my picture to most of the chemistry department at my university.

I need you to tell me what you think of this pun:

"What is the best way for a chemistry student to say goodbye? A wave function"

Yes, I know it's bad, that's sort of the point. I want it to be a "Carlos!" moment. Is it easily understandable (i.e. is the connection to a physical hand wave easily made or will the staff think i'm just an idiot?)
