Humans have a need to feel accomplished. To feel as if we are important and have impacted the world in some way.

We also have the desire to increase our wealth along the way.

Has /sci/ had a chance to make more money doing something they don’t particularly care about, or think is pointless monotonous crap?

Is being a sell-out okay as long as we are compensated enough?

Or is it better to pursue more important matters that we believe in?

Im getting raped up the ass with the amount of math they require for finance at UTD

>College Algebra Cal 1 and Cal 2
>Take stats twice because it wont transfer from CC
>Require a full on Probability course all in Summation Notation
>Linear Algebra currently in Quantative Analysis over the summer

Texas Tech, A&M and TCU all dont require Cal 2 its ridiculous. I think Rice and SMU require Im not sure nor do I really care at this point I just want it over with

What are some good science journals/ blogs / publishers that dish out the latest findings in science. Any place I can subscribe to would be great, even like good youtube channels for science. Thanks
